Friday my sister and I took Mother to our Great-niece's high school graduation in Stillwater. It was a long ride for Mother, but she did great.
We arrived at my Brother's new abode at about 4 pm. This was our first visit there. I really miss having them close, but I can understand that they would like to live closer to their daughters and grandchildren. They have a lovely new home and I hope they'll have many happy years there.
We went to one of my niece's house for a barbecue. She has the loveliest home of all, I think. She is the hostess with the mostess. (I know that's not a word, by the way) There were a lot of people there that I didn't know. But my two nephews had flown home from Washington D.C. and my other niece was there too. All four of my brother's children home at once! This is rare indeed! So nice to see them all.
Then we were off to Gallagher - Iba Arena for graduation.
We are not used to such large classes graduating. 351. Wow.
It was a long evening, but my sister and I had fun. We played with our cameras and Mother visited with our nephew-in-law's Father most of the evening.
We enjoyed watching the people who were sitting around us. This was a very ethnically diverse group. (we're not used to that out here in the sticks) Our beautiful great-niece graduated and the entire class seemed to be quite excited about it all.
