Monday, Monday

Monday in Mooreland again. That means driving through Seiling and I'm not liking that at all. They have the streets torn up to construct a new road. This has been going on for months and looks like the end is nowhere in sight. As I was barely going 10 MPH this morning, I noticed that part of the construction seems to involve kicking stuff on the new asphalt. All the guys were doing it, so it must be necessary. I could have avoided it all by going through Chester and Greiver Canyon. But there isn't much cell signal there and I just know that this is the place I'll have a flat, the engine will blow up or the steering wheel will come off etc... The highway 270 route seems shorter anyway, since it angles.

I forgot my camera today and wouldn't you know it, the two sunflower fields are in bloom. They were very pretty this morning. It looks like most of the wheat worth cutting has been harvested now.

It's cellular hotline today. This means that if you haven't paid your bill, your cell phone won't work. That's keeping us pretty busy coupled with the last day to pay or make arrangements for the Mooreland customers. Tomorrow is disconnect for the Mooreland exchange. I'm not sure where I'm working tomorrow. It's 30Th cycle disconnect in a few other offices where people are vacationing. We'll just have to see who has more accounts that are unpaid.

And to think, this time last year we were packing so we could go here....
