Whew! This week is going by so fast! Monday and Tuesday in Mooreland were very busy. Tuesday was disconnect day for 4 towns in that exchange. Making friends. People really aren't very friendly when they get disconnected for non-payment, go figure. I suspect that the economic stimulus checks are floating around now too. New installs, upping DSL speeds, premium TV channel additions....I'm dreaming cell phone activations at night we've had so many lately. I'm ready for a vacation. Really ready. That probably won't come until Sept. or so.

I came home through Woodward. Yes, it is too on the way, kind of, depending on how you look at things. I went through the auto-car wash and the company car came out bright and shiny. Only thing bad thing though, was i only had a $20 bill. So I fed that into the machine and it gave me $14.00 change. In quarters. So I'm ready for the next car wash. I guess...

I stopped by the Wal Mart and saw my sister-in-law. She is a retired special needs teacher. She took a link out of my watchband for me and told me how busy both of them have been. She said she had just arrived home from Mexico, where she bought her drugs. I took a double take and then realized she didn't mean recreational drugs. The world has certainly changed.

The Mr. has been quite busy lately too and unusually grumpy as well. At least the grumpiness has been directed at the boys and not me. Poor fellas. One of them has been quite ill lately, poor guy. None of the bad attitude is directed toward him. But the other two....it seems like they can't do anything right these days. That reminds me again that I am so thankful for my job. I'm so very fortunate. If I work somewhere else, then I'm not working out in the field, experiencing the grumpiness first hand. I am truly blessed.

Today I am in Okeene again. I visited the tag agent to renew my driver's license.
I stopped in at the Catholic Thrift Store to pick up some white T-shirts for those poor guys that can't do anything right. I noticed that the boys were looking a little dingy these days and it was a $1 a bag day. Light colors are cooler out in the sun, trust me, I know. I found this there too.

This reminded me of Mr. Bill. I do have a special place in my heart for Mr. Bill. Always have.
