It seems like all I have been doing lately is working. Wait a minute, that is all I've been doing. Yesterday and today I worked in Shattuck again. Longgg drive.
I have been planning for my vacation a little. Yea!! Boy, am I ready for some time away from the office. Since this is my first full year on the J.O.B. I have to take my 5 days consecutively. I'm taking the week after Labor Day and counting the weekend before that, I will have 10 days all together. My daughter and I are going to ride the train to Texas and stay there for a couple of days. I barely get to spend any time with her anymore, so I'm really looking forward to that. I really need a vacation too. I have a bad attitude concerning my customers these days. I don't treat them poorly, I just think bad things about them.
Mother called to visit. She said that she had planned on attending church on Sunday, but her schedule is all out of whack due to the Olympics. She has become a Michael Phelps groupie. That's OK, it takes her mind off politics for awhile. She was a little confused about when Labor Day is. I reminded her that it's not this weekend, but next. She really does have it together pretty well for a woman of 85 years. We are so very lucky to have her in our lives.
I've not had much to talk about lately. I have been thinking far too much. I've been contemplating what direction the rest of my life can go. There are still decisions that can be made that could completely change the path in which the rest of my years will go. It's never too late to change things.
