I have been, really. And I've been tired too. I'm ready for my vacation, not that it sounds like I'll get much rest. I think the change in routine will help. Not getting up at 5 am for 10 days has to help.
Over the past week I've worked in Shattuck, Canton, Okeene and Watonga. We've been having a challenge lately too... A certain percentage of customer service reps are required to complete Blackberry training. MAN is it difficult stuff. I read what I could of the training, it's online and part of it just wouldn't load. I took the test and failed. I don't fail tests. Of course the kind people at Blackberry don't show which questions you got wrong. So I took the test again, copying down my answers thinking that I could correct them the third time I take the damn test. Failure number two in preparation for test three. I took the test the third time, reviewing my answers, checking and double checking, and failed again. Those sweet people at Blackberry change the order of the answers each time you take the test. SHEESH! How in heck can you cheat when they do that to you? So I was angry and disappointed by then and took a week off from Blackberry training. I took a few deep breaths. This whole Blackberry thing was really undermining my confidence in the ability to do my job.(and that waivers from day to day anyway) Besides I was certain that I would need to know the infrastructure of the Blackberry Internet system everyday for the rest of my life.... So after a week I began studying, taking notes, reading and re-reading. Finally all the info would load on my computer and that helped a great deal. AND I PASSED THE DAMN TEST!
Thank you.
Then I took the three safety tests I was behind on. I was boycotting the safety tests because we seem to have hired another guy (who is really very nice) to film the safety info so that we can somehow find the time to watch the grainy out of focus film online and then take the tests that don't quite pertain to those of us that work inside. And I took all three of em and passed em.
Thank you.
So I'm all caught up and the testing. yea. And I'm really kind of excited about riding the train to Dallas this weekend with my daughter. Goin to the Big City. I hope we don't get lost.
