Friday was a long day. I had to travel more than usual. Thursday evening the company car was growling when I hit the brakes. Friday morning I was supposed to work in Shattuck, 80 miles away. After speaking with my supervisor, we decided I needed a different car. The place to get a different car was the motor pool in Kingfisher. It's 50 miles away. In the other direction.

I figure that I logged about 180 miles that morning, finally arriving in Shattuck at 11:00 a.m.

Then at 4 p.m. I drove 80 miles home.

I get to leave at 4 so I'll be home by 5:30. I get to be home by 5:30 p.m. no matter where I work. Lotsa road time. I'm so lucky to have my job. I'd drive further if they needed me to. They're pretty good to me. And cool stuff! The maps are clickable! And more cool stuff! I didn't have a flat on Friday the 13th!
